Behold the power of catnip

I picked up some catnip while I was out and sprinkled it on Laney's scratching post. She seems pleased.

Sometimes you just need to sit down inside a bag

Taking a break from a long day of sitting on top of the backpack, Laney decide to curl up inside of a dufflebag for a nap.

No matter where you put your backpack, I will find it and sit on it

The temperature has been in the upper 80s all day, but it feels hotter than that in the living room. So Laney's been keeping me company in the office. And by keeping me company, I mean sleeping on the backpack tossed carelessly on an old chair.

Does this window bed make my butt look big?

We put Laney's new cat bed next to the window when we first moved into this apartment. She then proceeded to ignore it for about a month. But now it's her 17th favorite place in the world.

I've got friends in low places

Or should that be, I've got friends in small spaces.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. It's nice to have an office cat.
